I Certify that there is due to Saml. Hodgdon Superintendant of Military Stores the sum of Seven thousand & fifty nine Dollars & 20/100, being balance of sundry disbursements by him within the Year 1798, for the two first quarters of the Year 1799, consisting of the pay of sundry persons employed in the military store Department, sundry Incidental & Contingent expences, the rent of Stores & grounds occupied for Public Service, stationary purchased for & forwarded to his excellency General George Washington Commander of the Armies of The United States, including sundry personal charges by Samuel Hodgdon, & Contingent expences.
