August 8^th 1799 I have received your letter of the 5 inst^t inclosing the receipt letter for pay of yourself as Armorer for February 1799 amounting for One hundred & ninety one dollars having on your hands six dollars & 9/100 which from has been refunded to the Treasurer of the United States by [undecipherable] Munenger, and will finally close your accounts on the Books of his Office — I inclose you William Peake's [rec^t?] on account of bounty as on the [undecipherable] you will transmit your accounts [& returns?] to the sub[undecipherable] Pay master-General.
