I have received your letter of the 5th Instant enclosing the Receipt Rolls for pay of yourself and Recruits for February 1799, amounting to One hundred and ninety one dollar— ring in your hands six dollars and fifty four cents, which sum has been refunded to the Treasurer of the United States by Lieutenant Meminger, and will finally close your accounts on the Books of this Office— I return you William Finch's Receipt on account of bounty as for the future you will transmit your Accounts and Vouchers to Caleb Swan, Paymaster General.
