Philadelphia 1^st August 1799 Sir, As my disbursements on public Account are nearly at an end, I feel anxious to have all my public Accounts adjusted. Those in the Military Department are of importance to enable me to bring all to a close. They are I trust methodically arranged & the Vouchers unquestionable.
