As the necessary certificates respecting your services as Surgeon Mate has ever to have your account which was suspended for want of it has been settled agreeably to Instructions from the Secretary of War. The different charges have been admitted except the claim you make for money advance to Dr Holloway which sum together with a few errors in the calculations of your account have been examined leaving balance due you of one hundred eighteen Dollars & [undecipherable] which you will receive from Nich.
