Sir,
I have rec'd your letter of the 24h & agreeably to your request a warrant has been issued for fifty dollars, on account of your pay. The sum you will receive on application to Nicholas Fish Esq. Supervisor of the Revenue, New York; to whom you will give the proper receipts. You are hereby requested to state your account of Pay & Subsistance from the date of your acceptance, & remit the monies received on account; shewing the balance of any due in against you, which account you will forward to this Office &c.
