Sir,
I have rec'd your letter of the 24th & agree to your request account has [undecipherable] for fifty dollars, and account of your pay. the sum you will receive on application to Nicholas Fish Esq. Supervisor of the Revenue, New York, to whom you will give this former receipt. You are hereby requested to state your account of Pay & Subsistence from the date of your acceptance, & remit the monies received on account; shewing the balance of any due to or against you, which account you will forward to this Office &c
