Sir: Yours. of the 1^st In^st I duly received and am Sorry you omitted to notice the other parts of my Letter. I must beg your attention to the following articles previous to the Statement of my Account for repairing the American Arms I have now in hand Viz^t — what the Gunsmiths in Philadelphia charge the Publick for a Sett of new brass Mufket mounting, & for each seperate part — as Heelplate — Guard — Trigerplate — Nosecap — Tailpipe — Bellpipe — & Smallpipes. I wish you to inform me whether the Publick intend that I Should repair anymore of the Arms at this Post, if they do — what method they intend I shall pursue in the business whether by charging Somuch for repairing each Hand of Arms — or by charging each individual article. I wish you also to inform me respecting the Swivel Bands mentioned in my last Account whether it is the Band & Swivel or the Band only that is charged to the Publick by the Gunsmiths in Philadelphia at 20 Cents.
