Sir, you are hereby empowered to employ occasionally an Assistant or person qualified to assist in inspecting Muskets, Stocks, Musket Barrels, Locks, Bayonets, Ram-rods &c at the public Works in Philadelphia, and all other work in which you may be employed at the rate of one Dollar a day.
