I have recev your letter of the 16th Inst and the Secretary of War has directed an advance to you of One thousand dollars, on ac of your supplies which sum you will receive from Saml Llunt, Clerk in the War Office, on granting your receipt therefor — I have accordingly to requestst that you will immediately forward your accounts Vouchers up to the 1st of the present month, charging the sums you have made & crediting the prev & hereafter your accounts are to be regularly sent on the first of the Month preceding, at this Office —
