The expence account of Joseph Dicken, said to have been admitted by the Secretary of War, must be furnished and as the admission thereof rests upon the Vouchers being presented it will be necessary that his attestation accompany the Same, agreeable to the form pointed to, to this body, as you state that vouchers were not taken by him. With respect to your own accot of travelling expences & Sunday accrn have been necessary they must be remitted and these your attestations subscribed agreeable to the form, annexed to the said accounts entries. In all future charges of Travelling expenses the account must be attested in like manner, where vouchers are not furnished. I have rec^d from the War Office your accounts for the quarters ending the 31 June, but without any communication from you — they will be placed under examination in course — Fam^ly M.S. P.S.
