⇣Accountants Office July 10th 1799 Lieut. William H Devereaux Savannah Georgia Sir I have recd your Letter of the 21 Ulto. enclosing your Recruiting account + Accts. [illegible] which cannot be acted on for the want of the Muster Roll of your Recruits, to the 1st of the present month, & the receipt for bounty paid James Merrick, for postage of letters & stationary, which you will you please to forward immediately when your account should be finally adjusted. I am &c W.S.
