Knoxville TN 10 July 1799 Sir I have drawn on you this day in favor of Joseph Habersham esquire or order or seventy dollars and thirteen cents payable at sight, being for value received in [illegible] of John Crozier Post Master at Knoxville and which money is to to be appropriated to the contingent and incidental expences for the Department of War. Having passed the amount of the bill to the credit of the Treasurer request due honor thereto I am respectfully Your Hub. Servt. David Henley The honorable James McHenry Secy War
