Irvine[?] between 1 Jan^y & 9 June 1799. has been examined & a balance reported in his favor of eighty six Dollars & [undecipherable], which sum will be transmitted to you by the Treasurer of the United States, to be by you paid to the said [Alex] Humphreys upon his granting you the necessary receipt.
