Sir I have received your letter of the 2^d inclosing the Acct^s & Vouchers therein mentioned. It being the duty of Pay master General to examine all accounts of the nature of them forwarded in the first instance, they being mostly signed for arives at this place, they will be returned until he arrives when they will be transfered to him, he no doubt will communicate with you on the Subject.
