You will deliver with your own Hands the enclosed letter to David Fiero, late Ensign, now Lieutenant in the third Regiment of Infantry in the service of the united States.
& informs him of the pleasure [undecipherable] of the United States, that his Commission as an [undecipherable: Officer?] in the Army of the United States is revoked and [undecipherable: that] all pay and emoluments derived therefrom [undecipherable: shall] cease and determine from and after the receipt of the said Letter.
