Detroit July 1^st 1799— Sir— Inclosed are the Quarterly Returns of Clothing and Indian goods for the months of April May and June 1799— toget— with the vouchers & duplicate receipts for support of the issues made in the quarter. No report has been made from [undecipherable] [undecipherable] & [undecipherable] receptions or issues at [undecipherable] Post this quarter. The Clothing on hand at the first of the Quarter, held at Detroit and [undecipherable] are in this quarterly returns, particularly noticed the good & damaged articles are separated, with a view that the real situation of the Clothing may be known — the quantity noted in the 12 [undecipherable] mentioned in my last letters are stated as receptions on this quarter— The watch coats & 10 [undecipherable] only complete which have been returned into store, having previously issued — The Clothing mentioned on [undecipherable] at Fort [undecipherable] [undecipherable] charged on our Books— And the probability is the [undecipherable] or most of them have been issued, since our last report from that place— I remain Sir, your obedient and very humble Servant [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable]
