[Jonathan Schieffelin P^d July 1790 An^s 10 August] Sir Detroit 1.^st July 1798— I now forward the Returns & Vouchers for the last Quarter i e for April, May & June 1798 — The Returns of Issues at Fort Wayne are not yet come to hand, but as I am ordered to proceed to [underline: that Post] for the purpose of Delivering the Annuities to the Indian Nations there, and afterwards, to go to Philadelphia with the Principal Chiefs of the Ottawas, Chippewas & Pottewata-my Nations.
