I have received from the Secretary of the Master Paymaster of the Department of recruits at Fort Steuben under your command, to 31 May 1799, also muster & pay rolls of the other Detachments stationed as above, the one under the command of Lt Patrick le Harris & the other under the command of Ens.n John William Soles, it will be proper therefore previous to my acting on the same, that the whole be included in one muster roll to be accompanied to this Office by a Pay all, which when received an examination will take place and the amount of any due remitted — the like information has been given to Buffalo No Ca
