In answer thereto I have to inform you that there is no arrearage due to his widow, at the time he was killed there was no want of Continental money & the army was generally received their pay monthly, if that was not the case with Cap^t McInyers it would now be too late to make application, the only claim his heirs could have was that for the Bounty of Lands on application to the War Office I know that the land Warrant was issued June 11 1783 for Mary McInyers Widow of the late Cap^t McInyers I am &c W.S.
