Your letter of the 11th instance inclosing Mr. Holt's draught for fifty Dollars, in favour of Mr Rice came to hand yesterday. as you left it with me to do with it respecting the remittance as I thought proper, I have paid the amount to the Treasurer, and now inclose his Receipt; this method I thought least liable to accident & error—
