Your letter of the 11th instanc inclosing Mr. Holt's draught for fifty Dollars, inperson of Mr Rice came to hand yesterday. as you left it with me to do with it respecting the remittance as I thought proper, I have paid the amount to the Treasurer, and once enclose his Receipt; this mod I thought least liable to accident & error —
