I have received your letter of the 31 Ult with its enclosures — You should have made out your Pay bill for the month of may only at the pay up to the 1st of that month, has already been forwarded: however I have made a Pay bill to be made for may, amounting to One hundred & eighty eight Dollars, as will appear by the inclosed receipt bill for your government in making the payment, where from you will receive your Taverne Carriage &c — Submitted on your paying from your Duplicate receipt before yourself accountable — the receipt for pay of those men will be free for future convenience — Your matte to Matthews has been paid & Davies receipt forwarded to you & letter of the 24th March last — agreeably to your request I have enclosed you Blank receipt & muster Rolls —
