I Certify that there is due to the Troops Stationed at Fort McHenry under the command of Capt Staats Morris the sum of five hundred ninety four Dollars 06/100, being for pay of himself Lieutt Philip Landais & Sams Dyson, Surgeon James Scanlon, including his forage from 11 April & pay of the non commissioned Officers & Privates for the month of May 1799, which sum is to be transmitted to John Kilty Supervisor at Baltimore to be by him paid to the said Capt Morris who is to be held accountable for the due application thereof.
