Philadelphia 10 June, 1799 Sir, I have receiv'd your letter of the 8^th Inst came covering the return of Cloathing— the articles to be forwarded under former orders will probably be shipped to day or to morrow— Mr. Munn has the conducting of the transportation, and I shall push him into the business immediately— I have laid the Cloathing return before the Secretary, and shall have his instruction relative to it shortly— when known it shall be communicated— and if course, it shall be forwarded in the most expeditious manner— your account between us, as stated by you is right, the balance, say Dolls^rs 2⁴³/100— Shall be paid as soon as opportunity permits— I am, Sir, your most obedient Servant, James Hodgdon— [Col.
