Inclosed is a Return of Clothing wanting for two Companys at West Point — Please to direct them to be forwarded me via Amboy — it being the most Speedy and safe Conveyance —
By several letters Recd from the Secy at War it appears there is large quantity of Military Stores ordered to be forwarded me, some time since, but none have yet come to hand — except 60 of Baron Steuben's Regulations which have been forwarded to the respective Regiments agreeable to order of Genl Hamilton —
I am to beg of you, forward of Army Tents &c: for the New Regiments, which I trust you will forward me as soon as possible, in [undecipherable] of this, and have only to observe, That Dispatch is the Countersign — and am Sir Your mt. Oblgt.
