I expected to hear from you to day, but have no line therefore conclude you has nothing particular to communicate — I want as soon as possible your abstracts for the first, third, and fourth quarters of ninety eight; and the vouchers for the whole year — Also, an Account of Stores actually on hand the first day of April, 1798, the period I am closing your accounts to agreeable to the notice I gave you in my letter of Instructions, dated 12 March last — It is of the utmost importance to you as well as the public to have these accounts accurately adjusted — I hope Mr. King has arrived with you, and fully justifies the expectations I have formed of his talents; in business such as yours — Nothing, more than the News papers could impress
