You will receive enclosed an Abstract under date of the 13th ulto of articles purchased by George Stites Esq.r agent for this Department in New york, in the months of January & February 1799, for the amount of which he will receive a Credit on the Books of this Office —
The Vouchers for the articles purchased as above mentioned have been either by the Departmental Quarter master Surgeon or master Workman endorsed as evidence of the delivery or forwarded hither; such as are noted on the said abstract of this notice without this enclosure; you will please have for the said George Stites as aforesaid accounted on the Books of the Superintendency of Military Stores —
You will please to send in acknowledging their receipt hereof, together with the abstract enclosed —
