Agent War Dept. the sum of eight hundred twenty four
Dollars & 53/100, being to reimburse him for a like sum
advanced for pay & forage of the commissioned Officers & pay of
the non commissioned Officers & Privates of a Detachment of
the 1st Regt of A. &C. stationed at Fort Jay, under the command
of Lt. Horatio R. Layton, for the months of April & May 1799
