Dollars & [undecipherable] Cts. being to reimburse him for a like sum

the non commissioned Officers & Privates of a detachment of
the 1st Regt of U. St. Stationed at Fort Jay under the command
of Lt Howard & Layton for the months of April & May 1799

rate Rifle [undecipherable]; which sum is payable to James [undecipherable],
