I enclose with you a government Copy of the regulations of the Secretary of War, for allowance to officers in lieu of rations on extra Service, this I presume is what Genl. Washington alludes to in his letter to you. I also enclose you duplicates of my letters to you of subsequent dates to that of 18th March last. agreeable to your request.
