I herewith inclose you the form of a bond & oath of office to be complied to your satisfaction by the pay master of the 6th Regt of Infantry commanded by Lt Colo James [undecipherable] previous to his entering on the duties of his Office the Act of [undecipherable] of the 5th day of [undecipherable] last making it necessary) — When these shall be executed as are from you, you are requested to return them to this Office —
I also inclose you [undecipherable] roll of Instructions directed to the Pay-master to which I request you will annex his name when it shall have been ascertained and deliver it to him —
