The Secretary of War has given directions to [undecipherable] Samuel [undecipherable] Clerk in his Office for seventy five Dollars, to be counted to you on account of your pay for which sum you are charged [undecipherable] accountable on the Books of this Office, you will therefore [undecipherable] to him your duplicate receipt accordingly.

An account has been referred to this Office for settlement by Mr Samuel Henry as Conductor of Military Stores for his pay & subsistence from 1st Nov 1796 to the 11 May 1799 both days inclusive, and in consequence of a letter from the Secretary of War requiring [undecipherable] of the same at this Office, he has been [undecipherable], after [undecipherable] from the amount [undecipherable], the sum of One hundred & seven Dollars & [undecipherable] arising from errors in the calculations by an overcharge on the [undecipherable] he received [undecipherable] being credited to him by [undecipherable] adjusted on settlements with him.
