I have received your letter dated the 20 Instt enclosing an account Current as issues rations made paid for the War Department. On a perusal thereof I find that you have charged rations paid without producing the authority on which the payments were made to the receipt of the parties. These vouchers must be forwarded previous to any examination taking place at This Office. You are accordingly requested to use them as early as may be —
