I have recev'd your letter of the 18th enclosing two receipts of Capt Saml Addins amounting to two hundred twenty one Dollars &cts which sum will be entered to your credit on the Books of this Office —

It appears by an account of William Linnett Contractor remov'd & settled in this Office that he has delivered to Gent Nathl [undecipherable] the following articles of Clothing Viz:
110 pr woolen overalls
36 pr Shoes
62 Blankets
[undecipherable] of which were purchased by order of the Secretary of War, for the recruits under his command. you are therefore requested to charge [the] said Gent [undecipherable] accountable on the Books of the Superintendent of Military Stores —
