To day I am favoured with your letter of the 10th Instant — The directions relative to the Medicine supposed to Yannai will write to the proper Officer at Massac, directing him to select and forward such parts and portions as are suitable, and requisite for the Troops at Loftus's Cliffs, and its vicinity —
The Stores purchased for Capt. Lyman are now forwarded and must be with you before this gets to hand —
Mr Withrow declines giving his situation with Mr Harris — I have engag'd Mr Ezekiel King to go to your assistance, he has a family which he takes with him — His recommendations which I have in writing from the Accountants Office assures me he will answer your purpose — He sets off on Monday next, and I shall make him a small advance to enable him to proceed — Adieu —
