Knoxville 13^th May 1799. Sir The Accountant in his letter to me of the 19^th March directs that I pay the balance of James O'Hara &Co's Account for the Contract in the Supplies after the Treaty at Tellico, to enable me to do this, I have drawn on you this day for three thousand dollars, payable to William King or order, at thirty days sight the Amount being Received on Invoice now which will be paid the Barclay &Co, one of the concern, which may be the consideration for, and an appropriation to the use of the Treaty held at Tellico the 25^th June to the 1^st October 1798, and having passed the amount of the former Bill to the Credit of the Treasurer, I request due honor thereto.
