Philadelphia, 15^th May 1799 Sir, Agreeably to instructions from M^r Hodgdon, I enclose you a Statement, shewing the quantity of Clothing in the public Store in this City, on the 11^th instant. Hamilton Philadelphia, 15^th May, 1799 Sir, The Secretary of war has requested me to direct you to inspect the Blocks made by M^r Fraley and others, for cartout Boxes for the United States — In making the inspection you will omit none to hap but such as are distinctly bored and free from cracks; attention must be paid to know that they are properly sized and answer in every particular to the dimensions given, and pattern exhibited.
