The enclosed accounts for transportation of Horseman's Swords &c the Secy of War requests may be settled at your Office — the Receipt of Mr Harris the Storekeeper in Phila probably is sufficient — the Swords have been made by Contract in Connecticut — Mr Rogers the owner of the Brig who brought them from New York has paid the greater part of the money out of his own Pocket — you will judge whether he is to be allowed Commission, as charged in his account —
