Your letter of the 10th instant is this morning Received — Within a few days past [a] considerable Invoice of Hospital Stores & Medicine have come to hand, a part of which I have already, forwarded & am preparing to N.Y. the Remainder, but am unable to determin to which Port to Address, Some of the Article vizt Kegs of Medicine [undecipherable] are Marked Fort [undecipherable: probable reading "Massac"] & West Florida. I presume [with] the [undecipherable: probable reading "Purveyor"] or the Apothecary can direct that I am to Open the Packages at this place and Apportion the Article Contained to [Massac] & [undecipherable] Wights which it is probable are the Posts to which the Medicine & Hospital Stores are Ultimately intended & which are more than 1,000 Miles Apart —
On the 22d. I sent forward the Galleys under [undecipherable] in Charge of [undecipherable]t Dom[undecipherable] B Smith Addressed to the Commanding [undecipherable] at Fort [Massac] —
