On Tuesday next I shall leave this city for New york, and shall without accident be there on wednesday — my hurrying to be to re-examine the reputed castings, which prevented your accounts being closed at the Treasury of the United States —
I shall first inspect those in york, in the charge of Mr John Blagg, and then come on to Elizabeth town, Thence to see the shot there deposited, and if the weather and circumstances permit I shall be there on Friday — The purpose of this notice is to request you to go, a since previously and have them all collected, so that they may easily be handled — and brought into view. Every shot will be re-examined, and my Report will embrace the precise [underline: number] as well as Kinds received or reported.
