Sir, Captain Steuart commanding at Zeitland
is very desirous to obtain Tents for his men; he is apprehensive
when the warm weather commences his men as they are at
present may be exposed to contagious disorders — He has
Sixty one men — wou'd it not be best to order Ten common
and one Horseman's Tents for his use? He asks whether his
men may not be indulged with a greater quantity of clothing
than the Law allows, providing they pay for them at the
contract prices — and thank you to inform me that I may
be enable to communicate to him what may be expected
from his requisition. —
