Sir,
Captain Stennant commanding at Zittland is very desirous to obtain Tents for his men, he is apprehensive when the warm weather commences his men as they are at present may be exposed to contagious disorders — He has Sixty one men — would it not be best to order Ten common and one Horseman's Tents for his use? He asks whether his men may not be indulged with a greater quantity of Clothing than the Law allows, providing they pay for them at the contract prices — will thank you to inform me that I may be enable to communicate to him what may be expected from his requisition. —
I am, Sir,
your most obedient Servant,
