I send by this mail the advices of them to [strikethrough: the Society] — I wish you to pay Five hun= dred dollars out of this sum to M^r Hodge, as advised yesterday, which with the am^t. of the draft remitted you, makes the Sum of $775.75, leaving an overplus of the Sum to be advanced him of $95.75 which is to be presented to I^r J^r. Hodge for his particular use. and have accordingly advised him of it— I have to request the favour of you to pay the Sum of $1000. to M^r John Hol= lingsworth H^r. for my account, and as the money may be wanted by M^r.
