The Secretary of War requests me to inform you that blocks or Molds for Cartuch Boxes to the number of 20000 and will shortly be wanted. He requests further that this will call on me for the dimensions and pursue the most vigorous measures to place the whole number in the Public Store in as short a time as it can possibly be effected. All must be made of wood perfectly well seasoned.

We have now in the Store two hundred and thirty four upright Poles for Common Tents; say 117 [undecipherable] which are destitute of Ridge Poles — there should be supplied immediately to meet the cases that may yet be expected — We also want fifty complete Sets of Poles for Horseman's Tents; and two hundred complete Sets for common Tents in addition to those mentioned above —
