[Accountants Office] March 30 1799 I Certify that this is [due] to a Company of the 3^d Regiment of Artill[ery] and Engineers, stationed at this Garrison South Carolina under the command of Captain Alexan[der] Matteson the sum of six hundred & sixty two dollars & twenty three cents, being for pay of formerly Lieutenant Jonathan Robison [deceased] [estate] [proceeds] [estate] including forage, and for pay of the non commissioned Officers & Privates for the months of January & February 1799, which sum is to be transmitted to Daniel Stevens Supervisor at Charleston South Carolina to be by him paid to the said Captain Matteson who is to be held accountable for the due application thereof.
