Sir,
Since mine enclosing an order on Major Langham for all the Stores on hand, I have found it necessary to forward as many common Tents to Pittsburg from there he has as will make a few Load for a waggon, suppose two hundred — I have thought it best to communicate this subsequent order through you — it is enclosed, and you will please to forward it as early as possible —
The Weather is now going to be pleasant and invites to a commencement of the operations on public accom — at your Post, the Canal in particular claims immediate attention — I have written to Mr Brindley on Communications all I have to offer on that subject — I hope he is, or will be with you soon —
I am, Sir,
your most obedient Servant
