Department of War Accountants Office March 26^th 1799 Sir The Accountant being absent from the Office, he undisposed, I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dating the 25^th Inst by Cap^t Henry. — The Sec of War in consequence of your representation has thought proper to advance the Sum of Two hundred Dollars on account of your Pay, & Subsistence, and the pay of your Men — which your Cap^t Henry will receive and you will be held accountable therefor on the Books of this Office — The Money sent to M^r Fish will still remain Subject to your order.
