Dear Sir Philad. 9 March 1794
On Tuesday next I have a very large Sum of money to pay, for an old Concerns for, R Morris. I Will thank you If Convenient to let me have the amount of Governor Sergeants Bill I Should not have Called on you So early, altho' I paid Cash Some time past for Sundry articles, but this Sum above mentioned I must pay So much for Indorsements for one a great man, I can: term him no more but a Swindler, in this Instance you will greatly oblige
