I certify that there is due to the Detachment of Artillerists & Engineers, stationed at Fort Mifflin under the command of Captain Joseph Elliott the sum of six hundred fifty nine Dollars & three Cents, being for pay of twenty Lieutt Simeon Henniger Francis Gibson Robert & others Surgeons Mate John B Lynch including forage & pay of the non commissioned Officers & Privates of said Detachment for the month of February 1799 which sum is to be paid to Capt Joseph Elliott who is to be held accountable for the due application thereof.
